My friends and I are looking for someone to teach us fire dance lessons. I know the basics of staff, poi, and fans but would like to learn more. Please contact me directly if you or someone you know in the Seattle area is interested. Thanks.

I'm actually talking with Atacan and Mr. Cheese about doing a set of Seattle workshops shortly after my Vancouver workshops!

Here is a link to a quick even listing I put up for the Vancouver set, so you can get a feel for what I'm doing up there.

Let me know how many of your friends are seriously interested? If it is enough, that might just clinch it for me right there, to have commits right off the bat... Seattle is right on my Amtrak line back down. Keep in touch, and I'll let you know what turns up in Seattle.

There are weekly spin jams that meet-up at the Odd-Fellows building on Capitol Hill (915 E Pine) every Saturday (usually 4-6pm) in the West Hall on the second story next to the restaurant/bar. It's soft toys or covered fire toys in dance studios, but I'm sure you could meet up with folks there to talk about fire or simply progress your spinning skills with others. Its usually donations of $1-2 dollars just to cover the cost of the space. ($30 for the two hours). People tend to primarily practice with hoops and poi although there's usually at least one or two people spinning staff(s) or rope dart. Hope this helps.
