They aren't exactly as soft as oggz but they don't hurt at all, IMHO. :) And you have to stock up on batteries (they're non-rechargeable) and ballchain (the nylon cord they send is dinky) but overall I've been quite pleased.

I cant find this anywhere, a frind has oggz that charge & have a setting that lets them stay on one color.. she said flortoys, I ordered, but noH, color fade only and they say no oggs exist with this setting, and the only unit that is ogg-like with this setting doesnt charge so the dont carry it.. I asked to give me that info, but they ignored my plea completely in their response! I've been googling... and googling.. and googling..... help! Any soft poi wit this setting..
