So i've seen so many ways to make handle's, i just want some that don't break. Hemp rope, Leather? I've even used the 1" x 1/8" Kevlar but have a problem closing the ends. I can't used any poly blends because i catch the poi in my hand.
Thanks

cotton webbing, kevlar (well wick. ; p), and leather all work great. I usually use kevlar kevlar thread and elmers on the kevlar handles and rivets on the leather ones.

ALL of the flexible ones break... eventually. The real question is how much warning they give you. Cloth (kevlar, cotton, etc) tends to give a Lot more warning than leather, though they don't tend to last as long.

The only way to get grips that don't break (ever) is to go metal. 3" rings are popular in some circles, wood covered variants exist. And that line ges really far and kinda crazy:

Its funny because I prefer that solid handle kind of thing but spin with double loop leather handles lately on ring because i like the way it flies better. haha

I use double loops made out of leather. Makes it easy for removing from the hand for tosses and the leather is soft on your fingers.

I make them myself all you would need is 1" leather and a leather punch and some grommets. I have had them for over a year and haven't had any problems with them. You just need to watch where you punch them and make sure the handles don't stretch around the grommets.

I use a set of leather handles that are double layered, have roughly 10 stitch lines and are the tightening loops that stay where you set them. I have been using these handles for the last 4 years and have not had any issues with them, there has been little to no wear and tear on them that is visible. I will take pictures and post pictures of them. They are easy to make and depending on how you stitch them and set the grommets determine how long they will last for you.

I don't do a crazy amount of throws, but, since I spin gripping a point on the chain, I have mostly converted to using weigted grips, which fit into my palm nicely:

The downside is that I can't fit as many wraps of chain in my hand when using long poi.
